The Friends and Staff of the Cos Cob Library invite you to join us virtually for an entertaining and educational falconry show with Christine Peyreigne, owner and founder of Christine's Critters, Inc., which is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and education of birds of prey and reptiles.

Christine's Critters takes in injured and/or orphaned hawks, owls, falcons and eagles and after rehabilitation, whenever possible, returns them to the wild for a second chance at life.  For those birds of prey that are unable to return to the wild due to their injuries, Christine finds them permanent homes at nature centers to become educational ambassadors.

Join us virtually to meet some of their amazing animal ambassadors and learn their stories!

Christine's Critters, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.

Check out our "Reading Colors Your World" Summer Reading Program!  Preschool children who join the "Read-to-Me" program will receive a bag with a reading log and kaleidoscope.  Finish the reading log and collect small prizes and a new book.  K-6 students can signup to log their books online.  They will receive a shuttle pen and sidewalk chalk as a registration prize.  As they reach their reading goals they can collect raffle tickets for special prizes, gift cards for local treats and a new book.
