Avid newspaper genealogist and researcher Janeen Bjork will teach a hands-on class on strategies for getting the most from the 29+ million pages that are available on the free newspaper site FultonHistory.com. While the site began with New York State newspapers, it has expanded to other states and is a must-have for genealogists of any level.
Bjork’s infectious enthusiasm for newspapers as genealogy tools will inspire attendees to search for “the rest of the story.” This one hour workshop begins at 2 pm and will be followed by a half hour help session that will allow students to try their new skills and get individual help.
