Join us for an afternoon of intelligent, provocative one-act readings followed by a discussion with the actors and director. Carole Schweid has directed over 100 staged readings as co-founder and Artistic Director of Play With Your Food. The Greenwich Arts Council is a 501©(3) non-profit arts organization, incorporated in 1973 with the purpose of developing greater encouragement of, and access to, the arts in the Town and surrounding area. Located in the Old Town Hall Building on Greenwich Avenue, it is in the heart of the downtown business district. The location serves as an Arts Center for its own programs and those of other arts organizations in Greenwich.
Greenwich Reads Together is a community-wide reading experience which will engage all of Greenwich in exploring a single book. The goal of Greenwich Reads Together is to deepen engagement in literature through reading and discussion and to build community connections. The Steering Committee leading this effort includes Greenwich Library, Greenwich Alliance for Education, Greenwich Arts Council, Greenwich Historical Society, Greenwich Pen Women and the Greenwich Public and Independent Schools, Perrot Memorial Library, and Retired Men’s Association of Greenwich.
