On Thursday, May 16, at 1:00 pm members of Grace Notes, a volunteer women’s a cappella group, will greet Greenwich Library patrons with songs from their repertory. Since 1967, the Grace Notes have been entertaining a wide range of audiences: young, old, active, homebound. Their mission is “to provide and share the highest caliber performance, to lift spirits and brighten hearts with the gift of music.”
The Greenwich Library Oral History Project celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of Grace Notes with the publication of Grace Notes: Fiftieth Anniversary 1967-2017, which combines interviews with Maggie McGirr; Donna Moffly; and Helen Bingaman, a former longtime director. Following the book presentations, the Grace Notes will entertain library visitors at the Welcome Desk on the first floor, then in front of the Flinn Gallery on the second floor, and finally in the Children’s Room on the third floor.
