Shannon Green earned the Certified Genealogist® credential in 2017. She is a skilled genealogist specializing in 19th and 20th-century research in the United States, especially Connecticut. Shannon received her bachelor’s degree from Duke University, earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Vanderbilt University, and is a member of Mensa. She continues to further her genealogical education through conferences, institutes, and webinars. She has published in the National Genealogical Society Quarterly (NGSQ) and the NYG&B Record, among other publications. Shannon gives back to the genealogical community by serving as a facilitator in the Boston University Genealogy Certificate program and as a coordinator in the ProGen Study Program.
