Do you want to know where you came from? Do you want to be able to tell your children about your family’s story? Do you want the perfect gift for the person who has everything? 

It is important to learn about those who came before us. By understanding their lives, sacrifices, and the brave decisions they made we can better appreciate where we are today. 

 Shannon Green earned the Certified Genealogist® credential in 2017. She is a skilled genealogist specializing in 19th and 20th-century research in the United States, especially Connecticut. Shannon received her bachelor’s degree from Duke University, earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Vanderbilt University, and is a member of Mensa. She continues to further her genealogical education through conferences, institutes, and webinars. She has published in the National Genealogical Society Quarterly (NGSQ) and the NYG&B Record, among other publications. Shannon gives back to the genealogical community by serving as a facilitator in the Boston University Genealogy Certificate program and as a coordinator in the ProGen Study Program.
