Classic director Antonioni turns his artistic color palette to earth tones in this symbolic film shot in Ravenna, Italy. Contrasts the beauty and ugliness of an industrial wasteland with the yearning of a young woman for meaning in her life. Open to a zillion interpretations. In Italian with English subtitles. 116 min.

Complements the Flinn Gallery art show Spaces of Uncertainty. In partnership with the Friends Friday Films, the Flinn Gallery will offer special extended hours before this film. Grab an early dinner on the Avenue, then stop by the Gallery between 6-7:15 PM to tour the current show.
