The goal of the presentation is to encourage participants to understand the importance of having a financial plan as an aid to stay focused on their financial goals. Topics to be covered:
Getting organized - Create net worth statement, create Income Statement
Setting goals - Address wants, needs and wishes-set timelines to address each goal.
Identify Gaps - Address gaps that may exist in income needs, spending needs and insurance needs.
Have a Plan - Why draft a financial plan? What are the different parts of a financial plan? What parts apply to your needs?
Take action - Create a plan, select a coach such as a financial planner/adviser, keep your coach involved with any changes that may affect your plan
Create a process to put the plan in motion -consolidate savings accounts, investment accounts with one adviser for ease of monitoring and review.
Visit and update the plan annually.
